A key word that you will see:

Fragmentation: a mental process where a person becomes intensely emotionally focused on one aspect of themselves, such as “I am angry” or “no one loves me,” to the point where all thoughts, feelings and behavior demonstrate this emotional state, in which, the person does not or is unable to take into account the reality of their environment, others or themselves and their resources. This is a term that my therapist and I use and is on the continuum of dissociation.

Clueless,

I just caught up on your blog and I am so sorry that things have been so difficult for you. I knew you were having trouble with words and am very happy to see you found the ability to speak and also to express yourself in other ways. The poem was wonderful.

It is very frustrating when we feel like we take backwards steps, isn't it? I have been there so many times when I thought I was doing great and then something happened to slap me back into all kinds of pain. I think each time though we crawl out a bit faster and learn a bit more about ourselves.

I am sending you much love and hugs. Thank you for being the wonderful person that you are and for always cheering me on and being such an inspiration to me. Your strength is phenomenal.

Take care and I have missed you,
Tamara
