A key word that you will see:

Fragmentation: a mental process where a person becomes intensely emotionally focused on one aspect of themselves, such as “I am angry” or “no one loves me,” to the point where all thoughts, feelings and behavior demonstrate this emotional state, in which, the person does not or is unable to take into account the reality of their environment, others or themselves and their resources. This is a term that my therapist and I use and is on the continuum of dissociation.

yeah, that pic carries a lot of visceral oomph, eh? i see my heart there, too.

here's a thought i had as i looked at it.... once upon a time it was their hands.... now, one hand is theirs, one hand is mine... all too often we co-operate with theirs so why would they need two hands anymore? but wouldn't things break down if we refused to co-operate any longer with the tearing apart, the tearing down, and will use our hand *only* for the opposite - for love and care and repair... eventually love will overcome, our hands would take over, and you would be left with two hands of love...??? hmm.....
