A key word that you will see:

Fragmentation: a mental process where a person becomes intensely emotionally focused on one aspect of themselves, such as “I am angry” or “no one loves me,” to the point where all thoughts, feelings and behavior demonstrate this emotional state, in which, the person does not or is unable to take into account the reality of their environment, others or themselves and their resources. This is a term that my therapist and I use and is on the continuum of dissociation.

Star Trek IV ~ The Voyage Home Bloopers

I know this movie may be before your time, but it is one of my favorites. Yes, I am a Trekkie. (What other horrible thing are you going to learn about me this week?) For me, bloopers are always funny even if I don't know the show. Enjoy.

Hey CC =)
I thought you might like to check this blog out: Emily First Girl

It's by a woman who has PTSD/DID because of serious CSA. I think there's a lot there you'd relate to, or get something out of. It's really an intelligent blog, or at least what I've read so far of it is.

Oh what fun.

When I was growing up we only had the one channel *shock, horror* so every Saturday was Star Trek, I think everyone grew up looking at it here. :)
