A key word that you will see:

Fragmentation: a mental process where a person becomes intensely emotionally focused on one aspect of themselves, such as “I am angry” or “no one loves me,” to the point where all thoughts, feelings and behavior demonstrate this emotional state, in which, the person does not or is unable to take into account the reality of their environment, others or themselves and their resources. This is a term that my therapist and I use and is on the continuum of dissociation.

What Borderline Personality Disorder feels like...Part II

This is from YouTube contributed by aperfectingangel. It may be triggering.

Dedicated to those that suffer from BPD and those who wish to understand it better. I found this on YouTube. This is the first video that helped me understand what has been going on inside me for so very long. I don't feel so alone or crazy now. Well, sort of. Also, while making my first slide show, I realized that the pictures and the stories that they told were indicators of BPD, but I didn't connect it with me. Clinically clueless, again. Yes, I know it now. And, I think I have a little more compassion for myself. Imagine that. I hope the video is helpful to you. Thank you to aperfectingangel at YouTube.

This site articulates the struggles of mental illness to its core.

The video is so interesting. I was spell bound.

As someone who suffers with depression and lives with someone who suffers with Bipolar, I am grateful for your candidness:~)

Thank you

Clueless-
Thank you so much for this video. I think I will post it on my site as well in the very near future--with link to you, of course!
As a person recovered from BPD, this brought tears to my eyes. I can feel right now, all over again, the heavy emptiness that encompassed my soul before I learned the skills necessary to live in this world without Borderline Personality Disorder running the show.
Thank you so much for finding and displaying this incredible video. I commend the woman who created it. It should be shown to every person going thru treatment for BPD across the land. Thank you.

Oh, CC, it's so heartbreakingly beautiful.

You couldn't be untouchable like the song says, though because you touched me with this.
You amaze me, and you are that strong. I know it hurts anyway, no matter what anyone says but there's more than the pain when I listen to you. So very much more.

*big hugs*
