A key word that you will see:

Fragmentation: a mental process where a person becomes intensely emotionally focused on one aspect of themselves, such as “I am angry” or “no one loves me,” to the point where all thoughts, feelings and behavior demonstrate this emotional state, in which, the person does not or is unable to take into account the reality of their environment, others or themselves and their resources. This is a term that my therapist and I use and is on the continuum of dissociation.

Can We Say Homophobe!!

To read a fantastic post addressing this tiraid go to Warfare: The Delightful and Dreary Sides of Gay Life.

Sounds like projection to me...in that most of what he is saying about homosexuals really related to the right wing fundamentalist churches...sad thing is that people really believe this stuff. I just want everyone to really talk with and listen to people who are gay for awhile. My hope is that they won't be so scared and judgemental about what they don't know now. I know I'm in Fantasyland.

projection A defense mechanism, operating unconsciously, in which what is emotionally unacceptable in the self is unconsciously rejected and attributed (projected) to others. What is present in the self is attributed to others.

Since I wan't able to access my blog, I have been spending time on Pinterest and having a great time.  I want to share some of my experiences as it has been very enlightening.  My views have been quite controversial.  I will also be sharing my personal struggles with my eating disorder and increase depression.  It feel so good to be back, but I want to do it slowly.

I have found it amazing how hateful, closed-minded and homophobic people can be.  But, on the other side, they are misinformed and are adamant that Christ is the only way to heaven.  It doesn't make it right, but hopefully you can put yourself in their shoes. I've also found the same with Atheists. It doesn't help to "throw" Bible verses at Atheists if they don't believe in the Bible just something to think about.
